Assembler / Pick & Pack Associate – Chemical Manufacturing
Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Assembler / Pick & Pack Associate to join a fast-paced chemical manufacturing and distribution operation. This position is responsible for assembling products, accurately picking customer orders, packaging materials, applying labels, and preparing finished products for shipment.
The ideal candidate follows safety procedures carefully, pays close attention to product numbers and quantities, and is comfortable working around properly contained chemical products.
Responsibilities
* Assemble and package products according to work orders and company specifications.
* Pick the correct products, materials, and quantities for customer orders.
* Pack finished products securely to prevent damage or leaks during transportation.
* Apply product, shipping, safety, and hazardous-material labels as instructed.
* Verify item numbers, lot numbers, quantities, and packaging before shipment.
* Inspect containers and packaging for damage, defects, or improper seals.
* Assist with filling, sealing, boxing, palletizing, and shrink-wrapping products.
* Use handheld scanners or inventory systems to record completed orders.
* Maintain accurate production, inventory, and shipping documentation.
* Follow all chemical-handling, PPE, safety, and environmental procedures.
* Keep the work area clean, organized, and free from safety hazards.
