Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Operator/Programmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating, setting up, and programming CNC machines to produce high-quality precision parts according to specifications. You will work closely with engineering and production teams to optimize processes and ensure efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Programming: Create and modify CNC programs using CAD/CAM software based on technical drawings and specifications.
• Machine Setup: Set up and calibrate CNC machines, including loading raw materials and tools required for specific jobs.
• Operation: Operate CNC machines (e.g., mills, lathes, routers) to manufacture parts, monitoring machine performance and making adjustments as needed.
• Quality Control: Inspect finished products using precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers) to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve machine malfunctions, tool wear, and programming errors to minimize downtime.
• Process Optimization: Collaborate with the engineering team to improve machining processes, reduce cycle times, and enhance productivity.
• Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines and ensure they are in optimal working condition.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production runs, machine settings, and inspection results.
