About the Position
We are seeking an experienced and dependable Shift Supervisor to join our food manufacturing team in Womelsdorf, PA. The Shift Supervisor will oversee daily production activities, lead and support production employees, and ensure that quality, productivity, food safety, and company standards are consistently maintained.
This is a hands-on leadership position in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate has previous production or manufacturing leadership experience and is comfortable working directly with employees and production equipment.
Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate production employees during the assigned shift.
Ensure production schedules are followed and labor is managed efficiently.
Train, motivate, and hold employees accountable for performance and attendance.
Understand all positions on the production team and provide coverage when needed.
Monitor production from raw materials through finished products.
Ensure compliance with GMPs, food safety requirements, and company policies.
Monitor finished-product quality and address quality issues promptly.
Inspect packaging and report equipment or production problems to Maintenance and Management.
Assist with troubleshooting production and equipment issues.
